The product cancellation policy is as following:

• TrenItalia E-ticket Promo – 2X1 Res included
Refund is not allowed.

• TrenItalia E-ticket Base Fare – Res included
When refunding not later than 1 day before train departure 20% of the cost is deducted.
Refunding on the day of departure or later is impossible.

• TrenItalia E-ticket Economy Fare – Res included
Before departure: no refund.
After departure: no refund.
Change of booking (can only be done in Italy): Date or time within the same category is allowed once before departure.
No change allowed after departure time.

• TrenItalia E-ticket Super Economy Fare – Res included
Before departure: no refund.
After departure: no refund.
Change of booking: not allowed.

• TrenItalia E-ticket Group Fare – Res included
When refunding not later than 6 days before train departure 20% of the cost is deducted.
Refunding 5 days before departure or later is impossible.

• TrenItalia E-ticket ITX Fare – Res included
Refund is not allowed.

• TrenItalia E-ticket Promo – Bimbi Gratis
Before departure: a minimum of 20% penalty up to 1 day before departure.
Please note there is no grace period to cancel without penalty after the booking has been paid.
After departure: no refund.
Change of booking: can be done once for free – from the day of issuing, up to the train departure.
A charge of 8 euros plus the difference between the full fare and the amounts already paid will be required for the use of another train of the same or different type, class or service.
The offer is valid on the Frecciarossa, Frecciargento, Frecciabianca and Intercity trains.
