Luggage

Two large items up to 158cm (sum of length + width + height) and 32kg in weight each, plus one carry-on bag are permitted. If you are traveling with a child, you are permitted to take a pushchair on board in addition to your baggage allowance.

Bicycles

Bicycles that are 85cm in length or less are allowed on board as part of your luggage if folded or have the saddle, handlebars and wheels removed.

Animals

Small dogs and domestic animals can travel free of charge if they travel in a carrier of maximum size 55 x 30 x 30 cm. Dogs that are not in a cage are only allowed on board with a “dog” fare ticket.
Accessibility

There are special seating areas for passengers traveling in a wheelchair. Passengers with disabilities should advise SNCB 48 hours prior to departure time and should arrive 60 minutes before the train is scheduled to leave the station in order to facilitate their assistance.
Refunds

1. Refund and exchange conditions will vary depending on the type of fare your ticket belongs to:

Fully Flexible

Can be exchanged for a similar type ticket up to 60 days after departure.
Flexible tickets can be fully refunded up to 60 days after departure. Standard tickets can be fully refunded before departure.

Semi Flexible

Can be exchanged for a similar type ticket up to 60 days after departure. The traveler must pay the price difference between the exchanged ticket and the newly purchased ticket.
Semi flexible tickets are subject to a 40% cancellation fee.

Non-Flexible

Cannot be exchanged.
Cannot be refunded.

2. A cancellation charge will be deducted from all refunds. The cancellation charge will be a minimum of 15%.
